We ordered take out tonight. We ordered a burger with fries, the chicken apple Brie sandwich with sweet potato fries and a side of fries. There was no fries with the burger and there was no Brie on the chicken sandwich. Also, the chicken sandwich used to come with a chicken breast. Now, itâs just two chicken tenders. They donât even cover the bread.
The food quality has definitely gone downhill since theyâve gotten a new kitchen staff. Itâs sad. We loved Simmer. Hopefully, they can get the food quality back quickly.

Fun selection and great service. Tasty peach margarita and buffalo rib. I wonder if you can get Nashville hot cauliflower wings. I didn't notice the happy hour but it was nice to get $2 off the signature cocktails.
My friend and I met for our June birthday celebrations and everything was perfect. We arrived during happy hour and took advantage of discounted wine and appetizers. We ordered bacon wrapped peppadew peppers, Asian hot cauliflower wings and filet (mignon) tacos, which we're substantial and flavorful. For dessert we had chocolate mousse and key lime pie. Everything tasted great and was a good value. The service was friendly and attentive even though it got busy. Take a moment to read about their 4% service charge on all checks. Simmer makes a good case for supporting staff and keeping costs down elsewhere and that care shows through.
I was recommended here by Mason from BOH. Heâs always had a talent and passion for food so I figured this place would be great! The food is fantastic, ESPECIALLY the burgers and fries. One thing though, yall need a host. How can you have a sign that says âwait to be seatedâ and no host? I waited at the front for 7 minutes before some guy in a colorful shirt came up, almost confused as to why I was waiting đ
Other than that, the service is attentive and food tastes great. Donât ever change your burgers.
I came here with my husband and his family and we had the best time! Mia was our server and we couldnât recommend her enough. She was incredibly funny and sweet and made our night. Please ask for Mia when you come here :)
I love this place. Genuinely I have been coming here since they opened and every year itâs better and better. Awesome wine bar vibes with exceptional food. You wonât find better on the west side of FoCo. They know how to take care of their customers. Ask for Carly, Heavenly, or Reaghan. 12/10 recommend.
